Yes. Creating a resume, editing every field, choosing any of the ATS-friendly templates and downloading the PDF are all free with a Sparq Academy account. Resume Pro is a paid add-on for people who want more AI assistance and want to keep a tailored version for each role they apply to.
No, and that is deliberate. The assistant improves how your own experience is written — clearer verbs, tighter sentences, less filler. It will not add an employer, a job title, a technology, a date or a number you have not given it. When a bullet would be stronger with a result, it asks you for the result instead of inventing one.
Every template is a single column of real, selectable text with standard section headings — the shape applicant tracking software can actually parse. There are no multi-column layouts, skill bars, icons or text inside images. The exported PDF contains a real text layer, not a picture of a resume.
No, and neither can anyone else. Every employer configures their screening software differently and none of them publish the rules. What we can do is tell you where your resume is unclear, incomplete or vague, and give you a layout that parses cleanly.
Yes. Duplicate a resume, paste the job description, and the tailoring tool suggests which of your real achievements to lead with and which of the posting words to mirror. Anything the job wants that your resume does not show comes back as a question about your own history, never as text to add.
It is stored against your account and is visible only to you — administrators can see how many resumes exist and how much AI has been used, not their contents. When you use an AI action, only the relevant part of your resume is sent to the model, never your phone number or email address. Delete a resume and it is gone.
